Something different–Gee’s Bend Floor Cloth
The design is based on a quilt made in the community of Gee’s Bend, Alabama, an African-American community known for its incredible quilts. This floor cloth was made for my sister Betsey (Elizabeth Maupin), a potter, who made me a fanciful painted pottery clock in return. To see her work, go to her link in the sidebar on the right.
